Cyclone Tauktae

The cyclonic storm Tauktae is expected become a severe cyclonic storm. It had already shown in some major parts of Kerla. It may move forward towards Goa in next 12 hours-says IMD. It may get more and more intensify leading to heaving rainfall and high speed winds causing a major damage in various parts of western India. the cyclone Tauktae may also hit Western Maharashtra in Mumbai, Konkan region, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur,etc. In maharashtra tweleve districts on orange alert. Quality rescue team is send from Pune in Mumbai and various other parts of Maharashtra. PM Narendra Modi reviewed the preparedness of all the states facing the cyclone.

IAF keeps 16 transport choppers for emergency situation

Indian Air Force on saturday said it has kept 16 transport aircraft and 18 helicopters in readiness in peninsular India as part of preperations to face the cyclone Tauktae.

IAF is looking for all possible help for the locals who may suffer from the severe impact of the cyclone. Fishermen have given strict instructions to stay away from sea shores and make all places empty. 

Gujarat may suffer landslide in some parts of the states:

With cyclone Tauktae intensifying Gujarat may suffer landslide on Tuesday. As the cyclone heads towards Gujarat, 56 trains have been cancelled. In view of major impact in the state, 5 NDRF teams has left Odisha for Gujarat. Here the wind speeds of the cyclone may be at  it prime as per the experts.

Evacuation of locals:

 

PM reviewed the situation. Central ministries annd agencies are concerned of the impact. There has to be a safe evacuation of the locals living near sea coast. Ensure maintainance of essential services like power supply, telecommunications, health, drinking water:PM at review meeting.

IMD says the cyclone Tautkae may intensify in next six hours so we all have to be prepard to face it togetherly.
